Ad Hoc Committee

An ad hoc committee is a temporary committee formed either for a limited time or to address a one-off situation. They dissolve after completing their mission. The need for ad hoc committees varies, but member organizations use them for everything from recommending bylaw changes to addressing unexpected challenges. These committees have limited authority, but they expand your organization’s ability to address new issues while better serving members.
