Project Manager

SBS is currently seeking a motivated, organized, and detailed-orientated FT Project Manager. This role is for you if you’re looking to use your prior project management experience and join a team where you’ll be immediately immersed in serving as a primary client contact for various member-based elections. You will develop and maintain project schedules to ensure that the projects are completed accurately and on time. The Project Manager is a hands-on role that touches every aspect of the project after it is sold including coordinating the clients’ requirements, materials and ultimately the deliverables per agreed upon schedule. This role is responsible for meeting deadlines throughout the project process. The ideal candidate will be an active problem solver who is results-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively, and someone who takes initiative while aware of the clients’ needs.

Basic requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 years of client service and project management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with appropriate prioritization in achieving results.
  • Highly detailed and organized.
  • Enjoys pleasing the client.

Internal Sales Coordinator:

This role is for you if you’re looking to transition into sales from another career path. We are looking for someone that wants to use their current skillset to grow into a full time account manager in 2-3 years. In order to prepare you to become an account manager, SBS must prepare you by developing basic sales skills through a 2-3 year training program. You’ll be immediately immersed in supporting the sales process internally by qualifying leads, preparing proposals, seeking vendor bids, managing project specifications depending on fluctuating client needs, and reviewing final proposals for accuracy.  This candidate will eventually receive more client-facing responsibilities by assisting sales staff in various areas of communications with current and prospective clients that includes initial contact and proposal drafts for repeat clients. The outreach to current and prospective clients will largely begin through phone conversations then email follow-up. This candidate will then work toward assisting account managers on sales calls and presentations, help with tradeshows and sales strategy, and take on small accounts as they prove their ability to become a full time account manager.  The ideal candidate will be an active problem solver who is results-oriented and able to work independently, take initiative while executing sales strategy.

Basic requirements for this role include:

  • Minimum AA degree in business, communications or related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Sales experience a plus!
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with appropriate prioritization in achieving results.
  • Ability to communicate persuasive and engaging reasons to purchase our services that drives action.
