This was the goal that over 3,000 association leaders sought out at the 2018 ASAE Annual Meeting & Expo in Chicago, IL. Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) was one of over 150 partners offering a variety of products catered towards associations and their members.
Our team was excited to meet staff members and volunteers to learn more on the election challenges associations currently face.

Keynote Speakers
The meeting opened with Yancey Strickler, former CEO and original co-founder of Kickstarter, the world’s largest crowd-funding platform. Strickler’s presentation “Making a Difference While Making a Profit”, highlighted how three creative people built a business with the sole intention of being passionately idealistic, deeply generous and never, ever selling out.

ASAE closed the meeting with Siri Lindley, world champion triathlete, coach and author. Lindley’s presentation “Focus on Potential” was aimed at encouraging great leaders to focus on potential to ensure that that the associations they lead do everything possible to live their mission and bring their organizations view to life.
The ASAE Annual Meeting and Expo is the largest meeting for associations, all of them with different missions and goals. At ASAE they come together to network, grow their organization and see the latest in technology advancements. SBS is very active in the association world, with a goal of getting members active in the organization by voting.
