Duty of Obedience

Organizational bylaws exist for a reason, and all members – especially board members – must follow these rules. The duty of obedience requires leaders to follow your policies and laws at all times. That’s incredibly important during elections, where failing to follow the rules could lead to compliance violations and erode trust with members.
