Ex-Officio Member

An ex officio member is a person who serves on a board or committee by virtue of their position. For example, the president might also be an ex officio member on the finance committee because they need to understand the organization’s finances. Depending on your bylaws, ex officio members may have full voting rights, limited participation, or no vote at all.
