Language Access

Last Updated on February 18, 2026 by Hannah Seeley

Language access is one of the best ways to ensure accessibility and reduce confusion during an election. In some regions, providing language access is also a legal requirement. Whether your association operates across multiple countries or serves a diverse population, it’s best to provide language access in each voter’s preferred or native language.

Reduce barriers by translating ballots, reminder emails, and voter education materials. When in doubt, hire a native speaker to avoid mistranslations or misunderstandings.
