Notice of Meeting
Last Updated on June 16, 2026 by Hannah Seeley
A notice of meeting is an official announcement that tells members about an upcoming meeting. It should include the date, time, location, and (ideally) an agenda. Most organizational bylaws require you to send a notice of meeting within a certain timeframe, but it’s also a best practice for member engagement. Reaching out to eligible members before a meeting gives them time to prepare and participate, so err on the side of sending multiple reminders leading up to the meeting.
