Results or certified results
Last Updated on February 18, 2026 by Hannah Seeley
A certified result is the official, validated outcome of an election, usually confirmed by an election committee or a third party such as Survey & Ballot Systems. The certification process often requires stringent standards, such as reviewing audit trails and confirming a quorum, before making the results official. This formal validation provides assurance to members that the election was conducted properly and the results are accurate.
